Spotlight: 400,000euros yearling by Wootton Bassett; narrowly beaten by a shorter-priced stablemate when both were making their debuts at the Curragh and he readily went one better when making all on his return visit (again over 7f on good); the second, another Ballydoyle inmate, has impressed since; this is the chosen one of the yard's four entries at the five-day stage.

Spotlight: Recruited by these powerhouse owners after beating a bucketload of subsequent winners at Newbury (6f, good) and maintained his unbeaten record in the Chesham at Royal Ascot (7f, good to firm), in which he dug deep late on after making most of the running; it didn't look the strongest renewal of that Listed race and the second has since been turned over at long odds-on; he still commands respect as a good looker with more to offer; two recent winners of this had won the Chesham.

Spotlight: Now looks a bargain at 35,000gns as a yearling and made it 2-2 (both 6f on good to firm) when quickening clear to take the Group 2 July Stakes at Newmarket, fending off the late rally of Coventry runner-up Do Or Do Not; penalised accordingly but he's bred to be even better at 7f.

Spotlight: All runs over 6f on good or faster ground; impressed on debut and reportedly endured a setback before his third to top prospect Albert Einstein in the Group 3 Marble Hill; carried plenty of market confidence when fourth of 20 in the Coventry at Royal Ascot (5-1) and that effort offered plenty of encouragement for this step up to 7f; interesting.

Spotlight: Arguably the best maiden in training having finished runner-up in the Coventry and the July Stakes; didn't make life easy for himself in the latter at Newmarket by coming under pressure so far out but he finished well and this step up to 7f looks an obvious move.

Spotlight: Smacked of a smart prospect when emerging from an unpromising position to win going away at Ascot (7f, good to firm) and appeared to have loads left in the tank; has lots to find on the figures but by no means ruled out for a yard going great guns at the minute.

Spotlight: It wasn't much of a race he won at Salisbury (7f, good to firm; runner-up now 0-3) but he was a rare winning debutant from this yard and is open to any amount of improvement; Oisin Murphy takes over.

Spotlight: Never dangerous when 25-1 and some 5l behind Humidity at Newbury in May but found plenty on that form to win well at Haydock on the step up to 7f; others have achieved a lot more but he's a promising colt.

Spotlight: Will have to step up considerably on his winning form at Beverley (extended 7f; good to firm) but that was all very straightforward from the front and this 550,000gns yearling brings tonnes of potential on this severe rise in class.

Spotlight: The form of his Ffos Las win (6f, good) is well below the required standard for this but winning newcomers from this yard usually turn out useful and the stable won four consecutive renewals of this race from 2010, and again in 2023 with Haatem; unwise to put a line through him.
